Venting steam

Brought my chop saw into the shop because the table wouldn't turn any more.
5-7 days they say.
I think I was pushed aside for other people as 12 days later they are just getting to it and now it is 16 days and the part is not here yet.
I have base that needs cutting and the front of my house looks like this.

tried the skil saw.
Getting hard to hold and with the ceder they sell now days it just blows the end out or chips it off.
Truing the end of a 16' ceder board with a table saw.
