1. I have the master cylinder out of the bugeye. Cosmetically, how did it come from the factory? Unpainted?
2. The repair book I'm using shows rubber boots. The parts book does not. Why?
 
HI Rossco, Undoubtedly there are people here on the Healey forum that may know the answer to your question. However,there is a forum called Spridgets farther down where they know all about those cute little cars.__Fwiw--Keoke
