GT6 VB Parts Question - GT6

After sitting for WAY too long my wife wants me to get her GT6 driveable again. I spent yesterday flushing the fuel system and freeing up stuck float valves in the carb.

I got the car started but it's still behaving like the carbs need to be gone through 100%. It's been more than a decade since I rebuilt them. The car doesn't want to idle and will backfire through the carbs on reving from low speed. Again, I'm focusing on the fuel system as the ignition is clearly working and hasn't been disturbed since I last drove the car in the fall.

I'm planning on buying a pair of carb rebuild kits from VB. Have any of bought the rebuild kits for the 150CD carbs? I have a set of diaphragms sealed in ziplock bags and I can provide my own o-ring seals. Do these kits come with the float valves and everything else... are they worth it? I'm debating whether I need the kits or whether to just buy the float valves and bowl gaskets instead.

All feedback and comments are welcome.

YOu have me there, I like Vickies but they kill you on shipping, the prices are good as is the selection and service

Find a pair of Royze brand ZE-14K's . At one time they were a 'Call-Brand' at Moss. Unless something has changed , they are good quality kits.
