Hi
Just joined this forum. Have recently purchased a 1960 Vauxhall Victor. Would like to hear from anyone else that has one. I had one in 1962, and loved it. Has now bought back many memories

Welcome to ya, Chris - great to have you aboard!

Neat little cars; kinda like a pint-sized Ford from the fifties.

Post pictures when you can.

Welcome, Welcome. You'll find a home here. Now, please excuse me while I Google Vauxhall Victor. Can't say I've ever heard of it before. Who makes it? ;-)

Always thought more of a Chevy than a Ford, but, either way, welcome! We don't get many Vauxhalls around here so the advice might not be the best but the company will be great! I have a '69 Viva GT. Just around the corner from my house is a fellow with a 61 Victor. He has restored it to an unbelievably high standard. (Maybe a bit too high - he has manufactured a lot of extra chrome) His was 29k miles original, no rust ever. Very Pretty car! And, yes, pictures please.

Yes, after looking at one again, there's a resemblance to Chevies. I think the headlight surrounds reminded me of the mid-fifties Fords:

Definitely more Chevy, especially as General Motors has owned Vauxhall since the 1920s.

I have been trying to put some pictures on, but cannot seem to attach them. As soon as I find out will send some. The car is in excellent condition as you will see when I finally add some pictures.
I belong to Bexhill Classic Car Club, and now I have a classic car, I will be joining them on their outings.
