Gorgeous! I love the Mk9, takes me back to when I was a lad!
And I do like the look of early Sevens where the wheels are in proportion. Somehow the later wide wheels don't look right to me, but that's probably an age-related issue.
 
Looks like Lotus is back in F1 for 2010.
 
Love the all aluminum early Seven (or is it a six?). The Elite is so beautiful as well.

That Mk. 9 Lotus belongs to fellow VRG racer, Dave Belden.

He saw the car race (and win) when it arrived here in the US in 1955 and was very taken with the car.
Twenty five years later he had the chance to buy "the pile of bits" that had formerly been the car.
He jumped at the chance.
He did nothing with it for another twenty years due to work plus racing various Sports 2000s
Dave retired a few years back and got it together. and have had a great time with it since.
He tells me it is easy to drive reasonably quickly.

Dave got a bad start and I passed him, but he got by me again the video about a minute later.
