The Vanderbilt Cup races were one of the first organized auto races in USA. They were first held in Long Island (NY) in 1904.
In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of this great American event, the "Vanderbilt Centennial Group" along with Nassau County, NY will be holding a vintage event on Long Island on Oct 1,2, and 3. The event involves a show as well as a Time Trials. Nassau County would like to make this an every-year event.
All cars welcome with pre-70 cars at a reduced fee and pre-1930 cars with free entry.
EMRA holds the rights to the modern use of "Vanderbilt Cup" and will be assisting with the event. For more info, go to the EMRA website at:
