General Tech Valve Timing--No Marks

That's an interesting point. I have worked on small block chevy's and never worried about the stand holding the engine. The TR engine is very heavy, more like the weight of a big block chevy. My TR engine had to sit on the stand for 3 years, so I cut a length of 2x4" to stick under the extension...just as insurance when I was working on and under it, or when I left it finished. It is likely unnecessary, but it is disconcerting when the engine "bobs" like a spring!?!
