Valve Cover Bling

Brosky

Great Pumpkin
Offline
I was talking to Joe Alexander the other day about his Miata seat brackets and he asked me to check these out as a replacement to my Nyloc valve cover nuts.

They need a little polish, but I'm in no rush. I like the looks of them and will swap them out when it warms up in the garage.

They do come without the Triumph logo as well.

And my usual disclaimer. I have no financial interest and yes, I will be paying for them as soon as Joe invoices me.

Maybe a red back ground for the Triumph Crest

Pretty cool, especially for the older members, it can act as a reminder of what type of engine they are working on...

Oh, boy. I thought that was funny, but can't remember why...

Thumb screws on th' valve cover?!? They NEED to have 'em?

TRactor engines require lash checking that often, huh?

Learn somefin new every day 'round here. :jester:

Aw c'mon, Doc. They're cool, you know it!

Especially those O-rings ... gotta have some myself!

I already a set of Joe's without the logo - just me, but I like em plain!

Okay, Randall... they are. I didn't look to see if he has an MGB equivalent.

"TRIUMPH" would look kinda conspicuous under th' lid of th' B.

Kinda like having Whiskey in your beer fridge?

Just for the record, Joe saw this thread and the picture and realized that he sent me a set that needed polishing and was not to be sold. Within two days I had a new, bright and shiny set at my door.

Just finished putting a set of these on my 3A when I had an electrical problem described on another post. Hope I get a chance to do more than just admire them soon!
Gordon
