Does any body have an idea of what the valve clearences shoukd be with a cam specs of 270 duration, 410 intake, 400 exhaust. Also installed are headers and the monza exhaust. The pistons are the 87mm. if thats makes any difference

I don't really know, but I'm running my 260 duration, .440" lift cam at .015" clearance and it seems to be working fine.
 
The specs for my cam...282 deg duration, 0.431" lift have clearances of 0.016" intake & 0.018" exhaust. I guess each cam manufacturer and regrinder decides what the clearances should be. Better to err on the loose side then being too tight.
 
Specs for my cam with 280 duration and .427 lift is .010 intake and .012 for exhaust, which is quite close to stock if I remember correctly. Grind is close to Art's, but clearances are much smaller. Yes, the cam grinder gives the clearances with his spec sheet.
