Hello Guys,
I hope everyone is doing well. Last year,I adjusted the valves on my 65 3000. I thought it would be best to set them at .012 as is marked on the valve cover. This spring I'm setting them at .015. I was wondering what you all think. Do you think it will run smoother at idle and maybe event get more power on acceleration? As always,I appreciate your help.

If you're setting them with the engine stone cold, use .015" otherwise, use the spec for the camshaft: .012" (hot) for the OE cam.

My Isky T-3-6 cam requires .018" (I) & .020" (E).
