Sadly I'm parting out my 85 XJS and have pulled the rear IRS in it's entirety and have heard they are items of particular interest to the hot rod and cobra kit car crowds. I haven't been able to find out how much I should ask for it though...any insights? Want to give someone a fair deal, but not have to deal with the email saying "I'll give you 50 bucks for it...and will you ship it to Norway for free?"

Depends entirely on te condition of the unit. Core value for the subassembly is probably $100. If there are no faults the price can appreciate.
 
Coventry West in Atlanta was asking about $1200 for ones they had that were in very nice condition last year, when I was looking for one for my TR7.

I ended up getting one out of an 87 XJS from a guy in Daytona for $400.
