TR6 value of a TR6 factory hardtop

I've got an original TR6 steel hardtop I want to sell. Its not dented or rusted and the glass is good. It was repainted from burgandy to white and needs all the rubber and weatherstrips replaced. The headliner needs to be replaced and there are no holdown clamps or bolts. What's it worth?

Somewhere around 600-700. I was going to say more but even the mounting kit is a 100 bucks alone...add seals and a headliner.....most of the value in that top is in the rear glass. Depends on how quickly you want to sell....you could ask more and wait to see if someone bites.

A full restoration on a hard top is not cheap that is for sure.

I paid 550 for mine about 7 years ago with mounting kit, all seals, chrome and headliner intact.

Cheers

Thanks Tush, I was thinking 4-500 for what I have. It is one of the nicer styled hardtops and a TR6 looks great with one. Other than that its a PIA to store and takes up a lot of room!

I agree on both accounts. They do look great with a hardtop installed and yes, storing them is a total pain in the ass!
