Value of a '67 420G

A friend of mine in town has a '67 420G that he is thinking about selling. It has been stored at a local storage facility for about 4 years. The body is in very good shape, the motor and tranny are reported to be in good shape and the entire interior was redone just before it was stored. I saw the car today and it is a very interesting looking vehicle. Being fond of British cars I am now interested in buying this one. What would a rough value be for this Jaguar?
He also has a '64 BJ8 Phase 1 car that he bought brand new and has had that in storage for many years. We started the Healey today and he drove it to his house. That is another car he is thinking about selling.

If the same thing can be done with the 420 as the BJ8, fire it up and drive it, that will increase the potential asking price. Of course the cars will need to be gone through from sitting but the fact that they run is a big factor. As always, can you get pics? As for actual dollar suggestions, I'll leave that to wiser minds than mine! :smile:
 
There is a 68 420G in Hemmings with 19K miles with Heritage Certificate and show paint for $27,900.
 
Thanks for the replies. I kept on looking in classic car "for sale" sites on the web and found one here in NC for under $16,000 in Charlotte that is supposed to be in very good condition. I am hoping the local owner will want under $10K. It does seem to be in good condition, but has not been driven in four years. British cars need to be driven so I don't know what kind of "gotchas" would show up now.
