Sometimes, people calculate all the money they've spent for repairs on a vehicle and that's the price they try and sell it for (as if they're really going to recoup their money spent), regardless of the vehicle's value. As most of us all know, we tend to spend far more on a vehicle than it's actually worth. Many of these vehicles are available (especially '76 through '79), in decent drivable shape for under $4000. In fact, I have a beautiful white '79, with roughly 70,000 actuall miles on it that I'd sell in a minute if someone whould offer me $4,000 for it... but I see them available all the time going for anywhere between $2000-$3500. I saw an add the other day for a 1965 in drivable condition going for $750.00. The one advertised in your local paper is way too expensive!
