Vacuume Line for Brakes 1959 XK150S

What specs or looks should the vacuum line that connects the (remote) brake servo to the intake manifold? I thought I would replace the line while I am working through the servo. The v line seems to have some kind of corded rubber texture and has a resemblance to an old hydraulic brake line. Once the servo is mounted and covered with the panels, I don't want to see the servo or anything inside of that panel again.
 
If you want exact copy of hose, call XKs Unlimited. XKS.com. Otherwise go to a reputable auto parts and cross by sight. The new hoses differ on inner/outer size, but some do look similar. To keep shipping costs down ask them to ship Parcel Post or UPS ground.

I had to use the "over the counter" hose as you suggested as my mechanic will be back on campus next week. No time to get the XK Unlimited hose.
