on a 1967 tr4a from the distributer, where does the vaccum line end??? there is a port on the crossover bar at the manifold and one at the bottom of the 1st carb. carbs are zenith stromberg 175 cd.
thanks scott, but i'm not talking about the pcv port...(i don't think) thats the large port for the gulp valve.the one i'm not sure about is the small port in the center of the crossover.between the carbs.
radiator side.from the advance to...i don't know where. i think it could be on the bottom of the carb or the intake maifold. where is it on your tr4a irs?

The vacuum advance line from the distributor should definitely be connected to the carb.
The only port that I'm aware of on the intake manifold is the one for the PCV valve in the crossover. Although I've got SU carbs on both of mine, the intake manifold should be the same and you can see the connections in the picture below. Note that on the SU's the vacuum advance port is on top of the front carb where it sounds like it's on the bottom of the Strombergs.
Do you have an additional port in that crossover and if so, can you post a picture so we can see it?
