~THIS~ is an old-school conversion done in the '60s.

The yellow paint and flames have got to go asap .

It must be a fun car !!!

Don't know how you could call that a sleeper with that paint job. To my eyes, the paint and interior colors are just awful. I like the way the guy did the flip up nose though.

:iagree:

Plus, it'll fit on an alignment rack and lifts!

The last picture, under the bonnet, clearly shows a klaxon horn. Aooooogaaahhh. THAT'S worth the price of admission, by itself!

I call it a sleeper because the TR3's were never known as quick from the line. This one would probably open a few eyes and with the flames, you shore couldn't miss it. Of course, if your a purest, this would probably be close to an heart attack.

I always thought this V8's body work and paint really caught the spirit of the conversion:

That looks really, really nice.

So, Randy, how deep are those teeth marks in your tongue?

283 and a 3 speed. That IS old school. I think it looks kinda cool and fun.

I haven't seen a 4GC Rochester 4BBL in 20 years. Those were phased out in favor of the QuadraJet starting in 1966. And it looks like an original external adjustable points distributor too.

Of course the 3 speed is a hoot. Can you imagine winding that thing out in second gear???? By the time you hit red line, you'd be at 130MPH.

That is a purists delight....I mean nightmare...........

Kind of cute in a back woodsie sort of way.

If people can modify a classic Bentley or Rolls, I guess a TR-3 is fair game.

But . . . :cryin: :madder:   :hammer:
