V6 IS IN!!

Have you thought about adding a/c, Mickey?

You will appreciate a cool environment in the cockpit of that GT!

Now would be the time to do it.

I sourced mine from Nostalgic Air in Florida

https://www.nostalgicairparts.com/ac/mgb-ac-kits-68.php

Yours, like mine, is somewhat of a hybrid and the brackets supplied in the "complete kit" may not work. I got my compressor bracket from D&D in Michigan.

Nostalgic Air worked with me in supplying the correct compressor, condensor, etc that I needed for my project.

Forgot to add the shot....as you can see, you have plenty of room!

Yep - A/C is on the list. In fact, it will have a combination A/C and heat unit, freeing up the area on the firewall, as it appears yours is outfitted.

Yes....I installed the combo unit. It is tight under the dash...but plenty of foot/leg room once installed.

Mickey...here's how I routed the vents to the defroster tubes and the a/c vents.

I sacrificed one driver side dash a/c vent to supply air to the defroster tubes.

I have ducts going to the driver footwell, to one of the middle dash vents, and to the left side of the dash for the passenger.
