v12 top hoses???

Is it normal for left bank top hose to be warmer than right bank,also when flushing rad with hosepipe with bottom hose removed left bank inlet will not take full hose pressure as some will squirt back out while the right bank takes full hose pressure easily flushing to bottom exit. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif
 
V12's have a thermostat for each bank but only one temperature sender. It is easy for one bank to run hotter than the other. You can easily tell with a hand-held laser temp detector. Every Jaguar owner should have one.

Part of the reason has to do with the way water passes through the radiator. The Kirby Palm Book "Help for the XJS Owner" has a pretty good description about why this happens.

The second question may have to do with the ejector that is part of the metal cross over pipe. If you remove the pipe and look into the end that provides return water at the water pump, there is a smaller pipe inside of the 2" pipe. I'm not sure how the ejector works or why it is there.
