-- Speed Jack User Review --
I use one around the shop on my Healey. It has a very low collapsed height & longer than normal reach so it will get under the Healey parts more easily than anything else I have.
Since it is a "speed" jack, one stroke on the long handle raises the car a lot more than a normal jack. This requires a "lot" more push on the handle to raise the car. If you weigh 150 or more & are determined, it will raise the light car. I got it mainly because of the longer reach & lower collapsed height.
It has about 3 1/2" down height, 17 1/2" raised, & gets there in about six strokes. The "reach" is about 19" from the rear wheels to saddle. The "carry" handles may be ok but are always in the way. Fortunately, they can be easily removed. The front, full width roller wheel is a PIA & gets caught on any minor obstacle in it's way.
It weighs around 40 pounds & I would not just pick it up & run around with it. Ever notice how husky the NASCAR jack guys are?
