Using an MG properly

November is turning out to be a busy month. There was a show at Wilmington NC so the BGT got the call to duty. Small trip-around 400 miles total. Then the following weekend we went to the Uwharrie british car gathering in the BGT. That was about a hour each way. The following day(Sunday) we loaded up the BGT and drove straight thru to Ontario Canada. Spent several days with friends and family and this morning at 2:30 AM we put the car back into service and came home. 15 hours later we arrived safe and sound. Our 65 pound dog Harpo took up the rear seat so room was tight. I got to meet up with Dave (14DNA) from the forum. We spent about a hour and a half shooting the breeze.I enjoyed that alot! These cars are not just toys. Take the time to make sure your car is happy and use it! This Saturday is track day at CMP. Hap from Acme Speed shop does a great job getting people to run'em around the track. Maybe the GT needs more action.. Or should I get Lyndas 63 MGB out and run it again this year? I did not check fuel mileage on the trip but I did look at the oil once. Still right at the top. It does not get any better than a nice ride in a MG. Bob

Were going to try and make it this year. Have to bring the wifes "B", the TF is still in a gazillion pieces. PJ

Bob;
I also thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Harpo is great, my dogs would have loved to run the yard with him.
Boys, this man's MGB runs smoother than new!
I gotta get me one with dual carbs again.
The 15 hour run home could get tiresome, I'll bet, but you and Linda are always welcome here. Just lets not wait so long to see each other next time.

Dave :savewave:

P.S. As Bob says, "drive 'em like you stole 'em" :driving:

Want to take that fun and enjoyment to the next level? Take a look at this - a hotel room in a box! No idea on what the cost is though....

Very cool! though FWIW up north here we just call them Tent trailers, though I suppose "hotel room in a box" might catch on.
:whistle:

Cool!
Might be a little too small. Where do you carry your camping stuff? The "tent trailers" I've been around had some space to pack things even when they were folded down for travel.
