US Performance parts

So far I've purchased a lot of performance parts from the guys in UK (Welch, AHspares, SC) and while I really can't complain (except for the exchange rate, shipping, customs, and customs handling) I am interested in if anyone knows of places that sell performance parts for the Healey in the US? In case your wondering what, I'm doing a complete engine rebuild with mods and I want a Quaife differential, pistons, etc. Considering I've spent just this month $200 in phone calls alone, I think it would be beneficial if I could find at least one or two more sources for the parts.

The engine items on this list sound like DMD items. If so, one might be able to save money by sourcing them here instead of Australia.

Healey Werks is a "distributor" of the DMD (now The Healey Factory) designed, engineered, and manufactured high performance engine components from Australia.

Ok..now i am really getting confused! I went back to the Healey Werks web site and re read the company's history and owner information as I did a few years ago, Craig Hillinger seems like a very impressive guy. I also took a cyber tour of there large Healey factory In Iowa, from there engineering department, cad drawings and machining facility's on site and all the rest! From my impression after reading there company history and current tech information... I see no Australian Connection and mention of them being a distributor for Aussie performance products... I guess some of you guys know there history very well...anyway good to know more about them.

To answer you original question, first you need to find an "old school" machine shop that still knows what a push rod 6-cylinder looks like.
They'll find that both Chevy and Chrysler have larger hi-pro valve and springs that work in our cars. You can source great cam grinds here from Dema Elgin, https://elgincams.com and others. Carrillo, J&E, and Arias all have make race parts for our cars, you just need to be resourceful and dig a little deeper. Next time you go to a vintage race here in the state, count the number of big Healeys vs Sprites, MGB's, Triumphs, etc....... it's the path less traveled, but a whole lot more rewarding!

British Car Specialists in Stockton, CA, handles Denis Welch parts. I recall you won't save much money, but you might save on phone bills. When I worked with Denis Welch on mine, I used the fax.

Healeywerks is in the extreme Northwest corner of Iowa, not really very close to Chicago, as I recall the owner moved his Healey parts business (building full of old big Healey bits) from the Chicago area to his wife's family land in Iowa, and went from having a small shop and used parts business to a huge restoration business in the last twenty plus years or so, I may not have some of the details right, but that is the gist of it.

Thanks guys. If for no other reason than having to wake up at 3 in the morning to catch them (AH spares) when they first open would be ok. Plus customs can really screw up the packaging. I'll call Healeywerks after the holidays and see whats going on.
