Don's car is still on craigslist. :eeek:

Don, what in the world are you thinking?!?

Com'mon man, don't let a stupid fitting beat you! :frown:

You've been working on it for 15 years, what's another week for a fitting?!?!?!

Besides, you can't sell it yet. Forever isn't over yet.

Com'mon bro, don't give up yet...not like this.

Take it down for now and if you still feel this way next year, then sell it.

???? -which Don - is there a link to explain this post?

- Doug

Wait..... Seriously? I know I've had problems with my car and threatened to sell it but I never could... C'mon Don! You will be losing a big piece of your life if you let her go!

Don, I'm just a little....[censored] off.
My phone number hasn't changed, neither has the offer to help you get that silly thing running.
I haven't moved, nor refused your calls.....unless you start it with some political survey, then the phone instantly hangs up.

Waiting for a call, Don.

Dave

The person in question is currently away from the area.
He will hopefully call me upon his return.

If I had the space & money,I'd grab it.
I hope that Don decides to keep it.

Why does that not surprise me..

Doug, there are some cars we shouldn't buy no matter how bad we want it or how good of a deal.

"In garage since 97 while slowly working on it"

That's nothing. I've had my Healey for 21 years and have been slowly working on it.

Not time to give up.

Geez you guys.
Been at my mom's memorial.
Situation is this.

The move to SC looks imminent (90%)Not cleaning the closets yet as 2 false alarms have cured us of that.
I can only move 4 cars and as I have 3 daily drivers for my family, the wedge or the 6 have to go.
I have come to appreciate the Wedge more as it is more comfortable, a heck of a fast car and...has the capability of AC.
So the 6 has to move
Thanks for the thoughts on the intervention.
It was a rough decision but actually since I made it it is a load off my mind.
NOTE
Dave , need you to help me put the new block in the Wedge as I have a TON of work to do on my house to get ready to sell

Funny sometimes how making the decision can be the hardest part -- once that's done you can rest easier. The fact that you feel the load lifted means it's the right decision. Done a couple of these myself recently...

Good luck with the sale, move, etc. Lots going on for sure.

And we're not getting the 6 running? ABFM is coming up (if yer still in town), driving the 6 one more time would be a good thing.

Don't even know if I will be in town.
In fact I saw the notice and recycled it.
This move will happen ASAP when the word comes down.
My boy isn't out of school until the 21st of June so he and I will be here until at least then

Best of luck with your sale and probable move.
I've "simplified" a few times in my life and it helped me get my act together.

That was a long time ago for me, of course.
These days, my house looks more like a home for foundling MGs.

No offense to all the guys in Pacific NW, but you're going to love SC.
The east coast is where all the Kool Kids hang out.

Mebbe not Dad. A decision has been made and a ride might make one reconsider.

Been to Charleytown. 3-1/2 miserable years of humidity and heat. Didn't get any better until you got past Columbia.

Pass.
