Urethane bushings

Recent article in Healey Magazine got me thinking about urethane bushings. Where can the be had in black? I've only seen red, blue and yellow. Also, there is a warning about not using it if any rust is suspected. "Who knows what evil lurks" within? I would like hearing from those who have converted as it seems I only get 3 years out of bushings.

The black ones I have seen were normal rubber or hard plastic with graphite, not flexible. They are used in het toptrunnion. Some can be used to adjust camber.

I bought blue ones last week (not in yet), because red is very hard. My supplier even told me red can break after a while. Maybe that is the reason why you need to take care with rust combined with the red ones.

Tom's bushings are great, I put them on my street BJ8 years ago. Just make sure you use the correct lubricate to avoid the "poly-squeaks", especially on the sway-bar.

Moss has black ones for the sway bar, Panhard rod and transmission restraint rod. I had red ones for the sway bar, then replaced them with black when they came out. I put a pair of the used sway bar red ones on the transmission restraint because the leaking oil ruined the rubber ones. My Panhard rod still has the red ones.

They work fine. Obviously the transmission ones don't need lubricant, and I can't hear anything from the sway bar or Panhard rod over the exhaust.
