These egrets show up sporadically, today I was lucky enuff to catch a few on camera.

The first one looks a tad over done )not detail in the back feathers), the center looks just right (WRT exposure). Wish we had cool birds like that around here.

Yeah, overcooked that first one, no amount of fussing will fix it.

A few years ago a group of them glided down the street about eye-high in a "finger four" formation. Wish I'd had a camera then!

They keep the yards clean of fresh morning bugs! Their beaks are very dangerous, though; don't come to Florida without protection.
