Howdy Folks,
It surely was a really cool drive and my Frogeye stayed reasonably cool as well.
I could picture a "Caravan" of LBCs driving these Heavenly Roads of the "Up-State". We have to make that happen! (Once mine is sorted out). Hopefully will get a bit closer this coming wk.

The bride and I are going to take the midget through Hendersonville and then down hwy 176 to spartanburg and hopefully find and eat at the Beacon drive inn. Then maybe find another route back up the hill. No plans for that right now.

The beacon is closed on Sundays. Still a nice ride. Took 176 down to 11 and then over to number 9 and up through lake lure and ate at place right there overlooking the lake. Had a pint of sweetwater 420 and then up through the gorge and picked up the parkway right before asheville and rode it back over to my neck of the woods. Exhaust sounded a bit funny and when I got home I checked it out. My monza muffler broke inside where the tail pipe goes in. It did not break completely off but the weld is broken there and the tail pipe can move up and down. Looks like I got to fix that before my next run. Car ran good but I did have to stop in chimney rock and top the water up. She started to run hot and eat water in that bumper to bumper traffic.
