Hi: I need templates for the upholstery panels (door panels, rear of cockpit panels etc.)for 1958 100 6. PO removed them and I would like to make them myself. Any help? Thank you very much.

Stuart

Which model? BN4 four seater or BN6 2 seater?

Stuart - what is the vin # so we can help to identify if it is the early Longridge or the later style.
best of Luck -
Jim :driving:

Anderson and Moment claim the last Longbridge built BN4 was 54285 in December of 57. They also maintain different BN4 rear quarter panels were installed starting with 67273 in September of 58. So it appears to me that you have one of the early Abingdon built BN4s which were still paneled like the Longbridge BN4s.

Hi guys:

"Anderson and Moment claim the last Longbridge built BN4 was 54285 in December of 57"

So I understand mine is an early Abingdon.

Stuart

The first cars built at Abingdon used the Longbridge model rear upholstery. :wall:

Guys,
It isn't all that complicated really.
The earlier BN4 trim was of course in the Longbridge built cars and carried on with the same interior design when moved to Abingdon until about 1st April 1958.
At that time the all new 2 seater BN6 began production and the Longbridge "style" BN4 stopped production completely.
When BN4 production resumed in September '58 they introduced the later "Abingdon" style trim panels and seat assemblies with completely different rear quarter trims.

This was my original question!

If I had your model I would send you a tracing. Surely SOMEONE out there must have a template for Stuart.

Hi guys:
It seems that at this time nobody has the upholstery pannels templates I need. So, in case that in the future somebody can help me, I would like to summarize: I need templates to make the upholstery panels (door panels, rear of cockpit panels etc.)for a 1958 Austin Healey 100/6, Longbridge type.

Thanks a lot to all of you.

Best wishes,

Stuart
