Not sure if this will be of "general" help but I've rattled across a source for material ~nearly~ matching the original basket weave used in a lot of our LBC's. This is by the meter for those who can DIY or have a good upholsterer.

I've used these folks for decades to get my Alfa parts, they're great guys AFAIC.

Dean, was not the Europa the earlier, triangular "basket" weave (like the Wollies' top example)?

Later MGB seats used the square style, IIRC.
