Last time alcohol touched these beautiful, lush lips was when my brother-in-law got me drunk (ok, I got myself drunk, be he encouraged it) in 1990. The next day I was so sick I honestly thought I was going to die. Up till then I had only been an occasional drinker and never to excess. After that night, I can't even stand the thought of alcohol.

sorry, but why. I have a drink once in awhile when out to diner. I Don’t see any reason to avoid it.

When I was in the Navy in 1954--my buddies thought we should celebrate something-(I don't remember what!)--They knew I didn't drink (I was only 18)--
They thought it was time for me to indulge in (manly) things! The brought out some kind of "witches brew!! I drank a glass of whatever--and then went to
the bathroom, and "made love" to the toilet seat--as they say--i threw up everything I had eaten for the past 2 days!--then collapsed on the bathroom floor--
My friends all thought it was part of the "initiation" into manhood!--But as a result--I am 86 years old--and have have not touched alcohol since! And I men NONE!
Not even a beer!----In later years-- at social gathering, someone would put a glass of "something" in my hand--I would thank them--and edge over to a "potted"
plan and "water' it!
