I won't be there yet but hopefully you'll be there

Re: Update

Don,

Euro Auto Festival 2012 at the BMW Manufacturing Plant in Greer, SC (Spartanburg County between Greenville and Spartanburg on I-85) is October 19 - 21. This is the seventeenth show since starting in 1996.

This year Dennis Gage will be onsite video taping an episode for "My Classic Car".

You can find the show deatils at https://euroautofestival.com/index.html

Re: Update

Well dah, I thought you were on the road. Take back my comment. Rush to closing on "old" house.

Re: Update

Like to get up that way, Would like to meet Hap and see his shop

along with all of you in the "Northern" section of the state
Would that be the hill country?

Re: Update

Don,

Three main geographical section names used to describe SC... Upstate, Midlands, and Low Country. You are relocating to the Low Country and Greenville / Spartanburg is in the Upstate. It is approximately a four hour drive from Charleston to Greenville / Spartanburg traveling west on I-26.

The british car club of Charleston is also having their anual show October 27. https://britishcarclubcharleston.com/

Re: Update

Oh, I thought that was this month

Re: Update

Got the inspection back
Yikes
Got a couple of small problems and a couple will do but not necessary and a couple of "nice tries!"

If They will agree to the counter quickly then I am done but need it signed before the bank appraisal is finished.

Re: Update

DNK, the transition from where you are now to where you are going to shall be, let us say, a challenge. I hope you are a died-in-the-wool southerner at heart otherwise you are in for a shock, culture that is.

I think he'll be fine.

Re: Update

What I'll miss the most is the view into the mountain and Salmon

Re: Update

Nice thing about SC is that there won't be constant clouds to block your view of the horizon and the sun!
