Heading home today from work I went a slightly different route (to avoid waiting behind the freight train rumbling slowly through) and saw quite the scene.
An Alfa Romeo GTV on a tow dolly behind a monstrous cube van, just parked on the side of the road. Went home (short distance away), grabbed camera to take pictures, and then drove back.
The car has Alaska licence plates on it! Dated back to 2002, and a definite project car. The truck is a 1993 Ford F700 cube van, a nice big tall one, and sporting California licence plates, also dating back to 2002, ???
As I circled the car with my camera, someone from an adjoining business came out to chat, he told me that it's been there for the last week-and-a-half and not moved an inch.
Interesting and curious...
Oh yeah, there was a sticker on the truck, saying the truck was sold to someone from Fairbanks, Alaska back in mid-August and it was being driven on a temporary dealer permit of some sort.
Interesting... As Alberta is a long way from either California or Alaska, but then I suppose still along the route to Alaska...
Got lots of pictures on my film camera anyway.
