Not uncommon to find a mouse nest in the grill after it's been sitting all year (always have to do a thorough scrub of all parts before use). But today, while prepping for a 4th BBQ, we had another uninvited guest. The good news - it was not a rattle snake, it was a Gopher snake. Took a while to get him out as he kept crawling into inaccessible spaces. Finally did get him out.

Too many itty-bitty bones! Not enough meat to be worth the effort, nasty taste too. Tried it on the second go-round in the Jungle Survival Course in the Philippines.
