My wife and I decided to invite some friends over today for BBQ and football and one came bearing gifts...an original TR4 loose leaf manual, well used, and 'The Saga of MG Racing Cars' printed in 1950. Very neat and thoughtful gifts...much appreciated!

Nice!

Is your friend a "car guy"?
Not your everyday coffee table books; how did they come by em?

Guy,
He's a car guy for sure! Raced cars, motorcycles, and carts forever and rode his Triumph from Alaska to Alabama in the not too distant past. His wife is our Associate Priest (Episcopal) and we've only known each other for a few years, but share a lot of common interests. She still drives her 1973 MGB she bought new when she graduated high school and he has a collection of old Alfas, Porsches, BMWs, Triumphs, Ducatis, Square 4s, etc...all drivers.

Ah - another Episcopalian! I'm retired rector of Trinity, Clarksville TN!

And congrats on the gifts - nice reading on the MG's.
