Under its own power!!!!!

Offline
For the first time in over a decade, my 1974-1/2 MGB/GT was driven on a public road.

Still work to do on it.....I have a little over 24 hours before I leave for Reno.

Keep your fingers crossed!

So is it what you hoped it would be? That's quite the build you've done.

Loookkkiiinnnnggg ggggooooooooooooooooddddddd, be safe and enjoy!

Good luck Rick! Wish I could make the trip. Would love to be there. Maybe next time. PJ

.....I will be one of those registrants who will be bringing a car other than originally registered.

There are just too many unknowns with this car for a cross-country shake-down cruise.

All of my efforts (and almost all of my days off since the beginning of March) have been devoted to the building of this GT. This means that my other MGs have been neglected this season.

I am disappointed, but sometimes common sense needs to be dominant over emotions.

I will be driving the Z-car to MG2011-A Western Experience! .....arriving on Saturday.

Rick, that's a tough call, but the right one. With age comes wisdom or just more age, whatever!!!!!

You're certainly correct there!

Drove 692 miles today, arriving in Hays, Kansas about 5:45pm CDT.

Off to Moab, UT via Denver, CO tomorrow.

Car ran great.....but then, it IS a Nissan.

<grin>
