Enough is enough! Well, at least my little friends have the class to dine on our sunflower seeds while in (on) our Triumph. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/nonono.gif

Hanging a couple of scented dryer sheets in there will keep them out or make a nice nesting material depending on your critters.

At least they smell better than moth balls, which are a last resort.

And better that they chew on seeds than your wiring, carpet or upholstery.

I use irish spring soap which is highly perfumery.. Has worked for years now....

I tried Irish Spring soap(uh, I put it in the car, that is) and the mice ate it!

Mice ate my irish spring too. My neighbor swears by dryer sheets for mice and squirrels as well as to keep the deer away from young plants. We put moth balls in the attics and under the cars and in the engine compartment with dryer sheets over the winter.

I too use the Irish Spring (as Sean says: "It has a nice manly scent") but I also use one of those ultrasonic rodent repellers plugged into the end of an extension cord and placed between the carbs.

Anecdotal evidence is about all you're going to get on this subject so you may have to try a few things to see what works in your neighborhood.

I always had a penchant for Warfarin.
...although keeping them out is better than having them find a nice comfy heater box to die in. My parents had some friends who had a varmint die in their station wagon, which they were never able to locate and ultimately had to get rid of the car due to the smell.

Does Lucas make a cat?

Awright, Bubba.

Wax another one.
