75 TR6 with a respray several years ago. New soft top and every thing else is original and very solid. It could use some work around the firewall and battery box but I hate the thought of not being able to drive it while I fix it.

78 and 79 MGB both partial restore... daily drivers
78 MGB fully restored
59 Nash Metropolitan... in full frame-up restoration now

72 and 77 VW partial... probably never

77 Spitfire- semi daily driver, working on it as i drive it.
Today i installed the head gasket and ARP head bolts. Has original paint ,needs a respray.

restored the whole freaking car and i have invested more then $22K out of which $4K have been wrongly invested because of bad judgment on my behalf, i consider them as the cost of learing about restoration.

I have an (un)restored '74 TR-6. I just replaced the entire interior including dashboard and upgraded the suspension. I also switched to chrome wires.

I'd like to do a frame up retoration on a TR-4 at some point in the future but unfortunately I don't own one yet.

Did a body off restoration for 6 years and 24K cnd EH! to a 67 4A. Loved every minute of it and enjoying it on the road. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I don't know about the owners before, my guess is that it has never been off. I plan to retore with the body on at this point. I need it to drive from time to time and my wife would never let me have the garage for that long.

I gots a:

1980 TR7 Convertible -- unrestored, but undergoing an engine rebuild (if I could ever get that darn water pump out)

1968 Ford Falcon Futura -- unrestored, daily driver. Quarter million miles and still driven at least 50 miles every day.

1970 Lotus Elan +2 -- unrestored, in totally original condition. I'm the 2nd owner and am currently putting the engine back in (the P.O. had some head work done). This car has been apart for over 25 years.

Hi, I have a 1962 TR4 (LHD OD).
The car is imported from the States about 14 years ago by the previous owner. It has certainly not been restored in that period and based on the state of the car I assume there was no major restoration before. I has been repainted somewhere down the line and I try to restore it in small projects. I do not try to get it in A-class status though; otherwise I might end up being afraid to take it for a spin.

So, '62 TR 4: unrestored

Mike, if you run into any problems, let me know. I did a complete nut & bolt resto on my '67, so I think I pretty well know the early GT6 by heart! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
