ummmm what the heck is wrong with my car?

I re-opened this thread that Mickey locked just long enough to make the following points:

• First, I read this entire thread and did not see anything remotely political, unless you really want to stretch the definition (and I don’t want to).
• Secondly, if a member sees a post that he/she feels is inappropriate, please use the notify option that is near the bottom of each post to notify the moderator(s). It will give you the option of explaining WHY you think the post is inappropriate.
• The moderator will review the post and make a determination of what, if any, action to take.
• Please note – and this is important – the moderator’s decisions are final. I trust my moderators to make reasonable judgments and to be fair.
• In some cases, you may not get the action you think is right, but that’s life. As much as I’d love to, I know I can’t please everyone. Just accept that sometimes the mods may see it your way and sometimes they won't.
• Do not engage in personal attacks or play moderator. It is a fact of life that with over 9000 members of all types, shapes, sizes, and flavors, there are bound to be some folks who rub each other the wrong way. In those cases:
• You can ignore the posts of any single member, simply by clicking their name and, in their profile page, click “Ignore this user.” From then on, you will not see individual posts made.
