I didn't pay much attention to this, with all the other stains on the garage floor until I noticed it also on the driveway where I warmed her up yesterday. About 6 inches away from the tailpipe. The multitudes of black speckled dots, no Doc, I'm not going to taste it.
What is it, where did it come from and how can I stop it?

Looks like you just blew some carbon out of it, Barry. The best way to stop it is to drive the living daylights out of it! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I concur. *stuff* in the exhaust system, runnin' rich. It'll blow out with some vigorous road work.

I think you oughta taste it anyhow... just to be sure /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Well 'charred' chicken.

My plan was to tinker with them carbs, but once it hit 68 degrees, I wanted to test my tonneau cover to see if it made the car go faster.
I didn't do anything 'vigorous' as I'm still in a break in period.

BUT......

I'll take that prescription doctor, and please may I have a refill.....

One Italian tune up twice a day for a week. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

After the first 500 miles and an oil change.

BTW: Sittin' inna garage with th' door up, havin' a nice Warsteiner "Premium Dunkel" at the moment. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
