Greetings,

I'm Bill Lawrence in Albuquerque, New Mexico and although I have heard of the forum, and met Basil a couple of times I am new as a registered member.

I have a 53 Healey 100, a 57 Land Rover 109 and a 60 something Land Rover 5 door I bought basically for the Dormobile kit.

I'm a member of the local multi-marque club,(British Automoibile Owners Association), the local AHCA subsidiary and the local Landrover owners club.

My son, who is a Special Forces soldier owns a 74 TR6 that was drowned in the storm surge from hurricane Wilma while he was stationed in Key West. He is currently deployed to Iraq and I am working toward restoring his car while he is gone, so I am interested in some good used TR6 bits.

Looking forward to the conversation.

Bill

Hi Bill, welcome aboard! Head over to the Triumph forum here and I'm sure you will find all the help you need!

Howdy Bill,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best source for tech info, chatting or whatever your desires may be relative to restoring your sons TR6.

As Basil had mentioned; Simply introduce Yourself, Your Son & His TR6 to the most active forum here; The "Triumph Forum" and ask away.

Have Fun,

Russ

:savewave: Hi Bill. What took you so long and where have you been? Just kidding, it's about time you joined us. Welcome!

Hi Guy! Great to have a newby that I have known from awhile back. Looking forward to seeing you at the Rendezvous. And, please thank your son for his service to our country.

Hi Judy,

Time on the computer takes away from time in the garage, so I kinda have to limit my use. With the new project I've been spending a bunch of time on eBay, so why not branch out a little?

See you soon.

Bill

Hi Dale,

Thanks for the welcome. We'll try to make it entertaining in September and see you in Chama.

Thanks again for your good wishes for our son.

Later.

Bill

Thanks Basil,

I've already posted my first inane question on the TR forum. Waiting to be laughed out of the place.

Bill
