as a younger member here i have to agree with all the statements here. i also have my dad to thank for instilling in me two major points growing up: "don't ever screw up your drivers license or your credit." I take pride in having a fantastic credit score and a perfect driving record. At 31 years of age not to many of my friends can say this. they wonder why my car payment is so much better and my mortgage so affordable compared to theirs.
I do however hardly ever carry cash- i can use my bank card just like a credit card and it comes right out of my account- much easier for me.
