While watching this year's Festival of Speed hill climb, one of the participants lost it in the hay bales. He wasn't hurt but the car had to be towed plus the bales had to be replaced. Almost left the computer when they announced a Eurofighter Typhoon fly over was about to begin. This is the video. What a cool looking fighter. Could not get over its maneuverability, plus this British pilot pulls some big G's. Watching it "live" was breathtaking....you'll likely agree.

Going to the Goodwood Revival in few weeks! First time.

Geez, I thought it was going to be a Hawker Typhoon.

Since we are talking about British warplanes.....

I have been following the WRC ADAC Rallye Deutschland 2014 on Facebook.

Yesterday this photo was posted on Facebook. It's such a weird photo, I figured I'd share.

As many will recognize, it's a Tornado in an open field. How it got there, I have no idea.
These planes were partly designed and built by British Aerospace (but most assembly was done in Italy by Panavia).

You can also see it from the Google satellite view ~HERE~

Great photo, I wonder what the story is behind it?

Here's a shot of an F-106 kinda like that.

Pilot "bounced" the landing and plugged the gear into the ground. Sheared the gear completely off!

On the serious side, I doubt it but, are they parachute equipped? I know they've been experimenting using them on some aircraft. Not following the military aircraft very much but seeing how well preserved this aircraft is, it's just a curiosity. They don't usually look this good making a dirt landing. PJ
