Two wires to hookup to the generator, one yellow-hooked to D on the control relay, one yellow with green stripe - hooked to F.

My generator has two hookup points One is a post that extends out ,located to the left of the tach hookup as you're looking towards the front of the car.(about 9 o'clock) The other is located at under the tach hookup. about (6 o'clock)

Diagram doesn't show details. Ideas as to which goes where?

Thanks....

Thin wire engine side bottom one fat wire. Think the fat one is yellow.

The wire from the D terminal of the control box goes to the large terminal closest to the tach connection. The one from the box's F terminal goes to the smaller terminal on the generator, nearer the edge of the back plate.

D is "dynamo," the generator output. F is "field," the generator's field coil. The field coil handles less current, so its terminal is smaller.

Darn Steve, wish I knew all that stuff, I just know what goes were not why.

Thanks everyone for the WHERE and the WHY!
