Subject: [Wedge] tr8's for sale
Guys,? I just took the Gold TR8 I had?for sale on ebay and ended the
auction.? I was driving it to get the new tires installed and had a temp.
spike and something in the motor broke.? My mechanic thinks I blew a
head gasket and a rod may have bent.? Without stripping it down, which
would cost me more $$$, we don't know for sure.? May just need head
gaskets, a rod and piston, or a new block, just don't know.? I now have to
sell the car as a non-runner as I don't have the time having to move in
a couple of weeks to do the repairs.? If anyone is interested in
building a TR8 with a hotter motor, here's a great opportunity to buy a
really straight bodied Tr8, with new paint and top,?and have a motor built
up to your spec's.?(maybe you even have a spare block already).? If
anyone is interested, please call my cell at 770-530-6592.? The first
$3500 gets it!!!? It's now at my mechanics shop in Marietta, GA. and they
can build up an engine for you or install one from Woody or Ted or y
our own as well.? As much is this sucks, I'm glad it happened to me
now rather to the winner of the auction while driving it home.
I have an interested buyer for the car in Dallas, TX. that doesn't know
anyone in his area that works on TR8's and could do the motor work out
there.? If anyone is from that area and knows a good shop, please call
me or email me at cadrinko@aol.com.
Since I now am taking a beating on the gold Tr8, as well as my house, I
need to also sell my pride and joy, my black TR8.? It's been basically
completely redone and seriously upgraded.? You can look at it and it's
spec's on Woody's web-site, www.wedgeshop.com, click on customers cars
and go to page 3.? Woody is putting it up for sale on his site
tonight.? I've got over $18K invested in the car and I'll take the first
$11,500.00.? Again, call me if anyone is Seriously interested.?? Hope all is
