Two Switches On Transmission?

I discovered 2 electrical switches on my transmission. One is on the driver's side and down in the tunnel if you looking down from the driver's seat and has 2 blade connections sticking out. The other is on the passenger side close to the top of the gear selector, and looks like the new brass brake switches. Which one of these is the reverse switch?

The one in the tunnel of the left side (drivers side) is for the seat belt warning light system, the one on the right rear of the shifter tower is the reverse switch.

Thanks for clearing that up. I had no idea that seat belt system was that involved. Can the reverse switch be swapped out for one of the new brass brake light switches? Mine has about 1/8" left of wire on one side, with the other completely gone.
