This is me and Pete Carrol having a good time at Watkins Glen last weekend.

Considering Pete's <span style="text-decoration: underline">Dad</span> is younger than me, I felt pretty good to keep up with this kid.

It was a great weekend. I got to hang out with Peter Egan and Jere Stahl (from Stahl Headers). We had some rain, but it didn't stop us from having fun.

So the question we all want to know were you ever able to pass him. This looked like you were very evenly matched HP and Driver skills. Didn't look like you were going all that fast until I saw you pass that big Healey and the MGA and left them like they were standing still. Beautiful colors in the still shots, leaves looks like there was some fabulous fall color to go with some really fun racing. We all get to have our Walter Mitty moments watching videos like this.

So the question we all want to know were you ever able to pass him.....

Not in that session. He took the checker at the end by a car length. He beat me in another session but I got by him in two other sessions.
One session was really rainy and I think he hates rain.
While I was trying to get by him, I spun 360 degrees but still caught him and passed him.

In two other sessions, he started a few rows behind me but stayed "even" the entire time. We're very close in terms of lap times (in the dry).
The red Spridget (#98) and the white/green GInetta coupe are also very even with me in lap times. None of us are really going that fast but it's great fun to race with these guys.
