Two Elans

EMRA had a nice race event last weekend at the Pocono South road course.
Dave brought his race Elan to our race-school and a flagger brought his Mom's blue street Elan. The blue is not original....it's a Studebaker colour.
When I saw them, I told these guys "Nice Miatas!" /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

The race Elan rolled over at a Summit Point Time Trial last year...then he fixed it and the entire rear body was destroyed when he got hit in the rear by a Mustang. It's been through a *lot*!

Both S-4's. Very nice, Nial. More motivation /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif Thanks!

That Stude colour makes the thing look a bit like an Easter egg IMO, though. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Yup. I certainly wouldn't be bother'd over th' colour sittin' in the driver's seat... can't see much of it from there anyhow. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

All you've got to do is get that Elan out of the pile and out on the road. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Therein lies th' problem. The Pile is then without a 'place' and the Elan needs a new coat of paint and some frame repairs.

...and my shed runneth over. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif

Thanks fer th' offer, Stu, but I think I'll just muddle along... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
