..roofing project. Saturday AM we finally got some weather conducive to physical exertion. Leaking roof, small area, plywood replacement. Mostly working with my head even with me knees, tear out shingles, replace a section of insect damaged ply and feltpaper, reshingle... not more than a four hour project. Felt FINE yesterday. This AM I durn-near fell down gettin' outta bed. Me glutes are really stiff/sore. *sheesh*

WHERE'S th' ADVIL!?!?!

My friend and I were going to start a roofing company named "I hate roofs, I hate tar!" after re-doing my garage roof.
We didn't get much business.... Success!
Unfortunately here I am 10 years later, and the garage roof is once again towards the top of the priority list.

Yeah, Stu... I keep forgettin' I need to pay more attention to th' cats: Stretch whenever possible.

Used to be able to sit for extended periods of time in the "Asian squat" position, also able to put either foot behind my head.
Not something I'd attempt now, tho.

  Not something I really want to see. I do have a photo of my sister with both feet behind her head though. Course, she was only 10 years old ten. Use it for blackmail from time to time. Hey, I sure do sympathize with the aches and pains though.

doc, glad imma no havta du dat, got 14" a snow on the roof with 3'long icicles hanging of the gutters, was spoztah get a right knee replacement for 5 years now, i should have never watched the actual operation on youtube. :nonono:

Modern anesthetics are a marvel.

Looking at the weather today, Doc. Bet you're glad the roofing is done.

So true, Jim.
