Nice plate on the Miata, can't quite make out the one on the wall though. Must be a good one to be there.

What's with the Virginni plate in Texas
 
Very observant, Don! I just put the plate on for this photo, then replaced it with my Texas plate (you can't see it, but that is a 1995 plate). If I still lived in Virginia, I would probably have put a "LUCAS" plate on the TR, if it was available.

At first, I took the photo to show how much smaller the TR was than the Miata, but the more I look at it, the better the TR looks. Don't get me wrong, that Miata is probably the best car I ever owned, for its purpose. It is a 1992, in near-mint condition, and I can't bear to get rid of it because I could only get peanuts for it. NADA gives me NOTHING for my $1500 hard-top. If it were a 1993 Miata, NADA would give me $300 for the top. NADA can KMA.

I am sitting here with THREE cars. The neighbors think I'm NUTS. Even when I explain that the TR3 is my "hobby," they still don't understand.
