Twin Weber 40 DCOE 31 carburetors, originally from Ford Escort Twin Cam. These are Italian-made Webers circa 1968-70. They're applicable to other Lotus Twin Cam installations, but they're listed by the period Weber manual for Ford Escort Twin Cam, and their greatest value will be to someone restoring one, particularly in this original condition. When removed from a driven car back in the 90's by the previous owner, they were flushed of gas and stored, but otherwise unmolested. These are NOT corroded carbs that have been soda blasted, chem-dipped, or wire brushed, so they're not covered with pitting underneath a fresh shine. Other than some surface rust on the steel trumpets they're in excellent condition, but given their age, buyer should refresh seals and consummables before installation. NOTE: The one thing missing is cover screws. During the lay-up process, the 10 cover screws went walkabout, so he scrounged 9 temporaries from old parts to stand in until he could get new ones, but never did. These will work just fine if you want to tidy them up and get a tenth, or just replace them all with new ($20 from Pierce). Price for U.S. buyer US$800, plus $50 mailed to your door.
