TVR 2500M vs TR6

Hi there. I own a '74 TR6 which I enjoy immensely but I've always liked the 2500M and I'm thinking of looking for one. I understand the TVR's mechanicals are based on the TR6, but from what I've read, they drive completely different.
Can I get some feedback on the TVR as to driving characteristics, seviceability, and parts availability?
Thanks.

Main difference in terms of driving, is that this is a tube frame car, and the handling will knock your socks off.

Very succinct, Paul. There really is no comparison between the two. All you have to do is drive a 2500M and it will speak for itself. The best way to describe the 2500M handling is "go-kart like". It's flat, predictable, and balls of fun. Make the switch and chances are, you won't go back.
Find a good one to drive, see for yourself.

Years ago I rode in a TVR Vixen. I have ridden in a few TR6s as well. I'll echo the comments of the others above that the TVR feels like it is on rails compared to the higher sitting and heavier TR6.
